Easy care, good for beginners, drought tolerate, low light tolerate
Light: Sansevierias can live bright direct to low light. These are great plants to bring life to a low light space. However, more sunlight will create brighter color and richer patterns.
Watering: Allow its soil to completely dry out between waterings to prevent overwatering and root rot. This is a drought tolerate plant so you want to ensure you are not overwatering it. Let the water drain through the bottom, empty the saucer of any water, and then allow to dry out again. One of the only ways to kill this plant is to overwater it. When in doubt wait an additional week to water to it. Reduce watering during winter months.
Considerations: Avoid touching the spiky top of the leaves, if the top breaks off or is damaged, the leaf will stop growing.
