Light: Thrives in bright indirect light. Tolerates medium light but will sometimes stretch for the sun.
Water: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Avoid getting the leaves wet while watering. Bottom watering is an option.
Do not allow more than the top half of the soil to dry between watering. Leaf crinkling or loss indicates the plant is being underwatered. Overly soft leaves suggests the plant is being overwatered.
Considerations: Will tolerate dry air but benefits from additional humidity. To add humidity, it is best to use a humidifier or partially filled pebble tray. Begonias are prone to powdery mildew that can occur if their leaves are kept wet. It is okay to mist the area around the plant, but do not mist directly on the leaves.
