Easy to care for and can tolerate an array of lighting conditions. Great plant to propagate.
Light: Thrives in medium to bright, indirect sunlight. Do not place in full, bright sunlight. Tolerates lower light, however will grow more slowly.
Water: Water when the top 50% of soil is dry. The roots do not like to be left wet so ensure that your pot has good drainage. If placed in a low light area it is best to allow the soil to dry out a little more (about 2/3 of the way through the pot).
Considerations: Leafless brown growths coming off your philodendron is normal. These are aerial roots - in nature, this is what helps give them support to climb and reach for more light. You can train your philodendron to climb up a stake or trellis.
