Light: Jade plants love sunlight and should be placed in a well-lit room. These plants thrive in bright indirect sunlight. Jade plants young and old should receive at least six hours of full sunlight daily. Ideal for a south-facing window.

Temp: Average home temperatures. During the winter months, move the plant away from cold windows and keep them out of drafty areas.

Water: Soil should be allowed to dry out completely between waterings, as Jade plants are very susceptible to rot. Avoid splashing water on the leaves while watering, as this can expose them to rot in a humid environment.

Toxicity: Toxic to pets

Trouble shooting

Shriveled or wrinkled leaves: suggests the plant is underwatered; needs of more frequent or deeper waterings.

Waterlogged and squishy leaves: indicates the plant is overwatered.

Jade plants like be crowded and rarely need to be potted up into larger containers; however it is recommended that you replace the soil every two years.
